When you need PD, I present it. USEFUL PD, not the kind you usually snooze through.
I present useful professional development for classroom management, differentiating instruction, marching and concert band programs, career and tech teachers specifically and all teachers generally on special education, components of the lesson, mapping your curriculum, and new teacher orientation. With 19 years of teaching experience and 12 years of administrative experience, I’ve seen and done most of it! If your school has a different need, please let me know and we’ll see what we need to do to make sure your teachers get the appropriate professional development.

A native of Arkansas, I earned my Bachelor of Music Education from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. I returned to graduate school (much later!) obtained both my Masters of Education and Educational Doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I enjoyed 19 years as a successful band director in Arkansas’ public and private schools before moving to administration. I was a K-6 elementary principal for 3 years before moving to the director of a secondary career and tech ed center hosted by a community college, where I spent nine wonderful years. July 1, 2015, I retired from the public school system to be an educational consultant. In my free time I practice yoga and save my pennies to go scuba diving.
